Payment: Can be made by cheque or BACS. Proforma invoices can be supplied on request.
Upgrades: Provided the request to upgrade to the ‘Accredited’ level permits the certification inspection to be completed within the prescribed period, only the incremental balance is payable. Requests to upgrade outside this time frame attract the full ‘accredited’ level fee. The invoice for CC endorsement is payable before the relevant endorsement profiles are added to the ‘Accredited’ member’s CIP.
Inspection fees: The fee for accreditation level and/or endorsement inspections is a matter for individual agreement between the Certification Body and the company. The inspection fees currently range from £575 - £625 per day depending on the level and complexity. In many cases the fee can be significantly reduced if the inspection can be combined with another scheme's inspection.
Training: Course and seminar fees are set individually by the provider. In most cases considerable financial support is available and on occasions courses may be free to the company. Training subsidies often vary regionally, therefore, details of funding opportunities from supportive bodies will be furnished by the training provider.
For construction clients and managing contractors:
The CIAPS service to procuring clients and managing contractors is split into three levels which allow the service to interface with their procurement procedures and infrastructure in the way that best suits them. The levels range from simple access to the supplier database (search and view) to full supply chain management that uses the service to set-up, monitor and manage supply chain partners down to specific project level (for details click here).
The first client level of access is free. The licence fees for the next two levels are negotiable depending on the level of integration required. Economies of scale can be achieved where several clients come together to agree a common set of operating system requirements, training regimes and reporting systems or where clients take an initial licence for more than the standard one year period. For more information on the costs and licencing structure of these two levels of client access, please email admin@ciaps.org.uk.
